Four More Contestants Axed From The Voice

Jessie and Danny lose two acts apiece as competition progresses…

Four more acts have left The Voice after coaches Jessie J and Danny O’Donoghue each had to pick the two acts they wanted to lose.

Cassius Henry, Toni Warne, Aleks Josh and David Julien were all shown the door in the Sunday night results show.

Pop star Jessie picked Cassius and Toni to leave – saving Becky Hill. Her other act Vince Kidd was already safe from the public vote.

Before she announced her decision, she said: “I’ve loved working with you guys – it has been a pleasure being on your journey and I’ll continue to be on that journey.

“I’m going to base my decision purely on the only role I’ve known to be on this show, as an artist.”

The Script frontman Danny kept Max Milner – with Bo Bruce already through to next week’s show thanks to the public vote.

Danny said: “It is so hard – I have such a tough field. My decision has to be on good instinct, and I genuinely think all of my team will be around, but I have to go with my gut and save Max Milner.”

Next week’s show is the semi-final and will see Becky, Vince, Bo and Max do battle with Leanne Mitchell, Ruth Brown, Jaz Ellington and Tyler James.

Danny revealed last week that he was being distracted by Holly Willoughby’s cleavage during the show.

Gary Barlow: ‘Prince Harry Is Like Robbie Williams’

Take That leader says Hazza is the ‘star’ of the royal family…

Gary Barlow has compared Prince Harry to Robbie Williams, saying he is the “star of the royal family”.

Speaking to The Sun, the Take That songwriter explained that spending time with Harry had reminded him of the boy band’s glory days.

He said: “It was like the first incarnation of Take That. They were running down the streets after his car – they weren’t interested in me, not a soul was interested in me.

“Harry is the star of the royal family, he is the Robbie of the royal family.”

And in a different interview Gary explained how he had roped Hazza in to play on the official Diamond Jubilee single he has written with Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber.

He told Magic FM: “I said, ‘So you know I’m going to see you tonight? I’m going to bring a tambourine with me. I hope you’re up for it?’ And he said, ‘It’s going to cost you!’

“So I turned up with this little tambourine in my pocket, got him to play it and spun him into the track. I think it’s wonderful.”
